  • 2014-Holiday-InfographicTips: Most people will tip the babysitter during the holidays on average of $25-$50. Nannies get 1-2 weeks pay as their tip.
  • Gifts: In addition to giving a bonus or tip, the majority of parents also give their nanny a gift, and most give her time off during the holidays, too.
  • New Year’s Eve: Most parents book a babysitter a month in advance and pay more than 1.5 times the normal rate.
  • Holiday stress: What stresses parents out the most during the holidays? Nearly a third say it’s family gatherings that cause the most stress!
